An opportunity is the location within the plan where a fundraiser records the proposal for the prospect – the amount and designation of the solicitation. An opportunity can have more than one solicitation associated with it. If you are working with another fundraiser on a joint proposal, you should have one plan with one opportunity which contains various designations. Opportunity status is used to track our prospect pipeline.
